IntroductionThe Dementiamania Ballot is the successor to the Demented Grudge Match II, which was cancelled due to lack of interest.
1. Effective immediately, people may vote for their own songs again. The rule that people couldn't vote for their own songs has been repealed, however, it now takes five different voters for the song to chart in the top 10 instead of three. 2. Dementia artists may vote for songs other than their own. This is more fair. 3. One vote per IP address per day. If more than one ballot per IP address comes in during a 24 hour period, then the later ballot with the same IP address will count. 4. Vote for as many songs as you want, once a day. No restrictions. If you skip a day, you lose an opportunity to vote. 5. The best of the new songs of the moderator's choosing will be on the ballot. David Tanny has full control of the list. Only the best get on. 6. Points are awarded: #1 gets 10 superpoints, #2 gets 9 superpoints, #3 gets 8 superpoints, #4 gets 7 superpoints, and #5 gets 6 superpoints, #6 gets 5 superpoints, #7 gets 4 superpoints, #8 gets 3 superpoints, #9 gets 2 superpoints, and #10 gets 1 superpoint. 7. Ties will be allowed and not broken by the moderator. The moderator does not vote. 8. Songs that are first played on the Mad Music Comedy Zone show will show up on the DementiaMania ballot. 9. The top ten chart will be posted only on this website. 10. Amended 5-14: Only the song that makes #1 and has at least 15 differnet voters (not votes) will be played on the "Mad Music Comedy Zone". The MMCZ won't play the songs that rank #2 through #10 or play the #1 song that has been ranked with fewer than 15 different voters. 11. In case of a tie for #1, tiebreaker will be broken by the number of different voters who voted for the song. If they're tied as well, either one or none of the songs will get played. 12. Songs that lose substantial interest after peaking or don't get any interest may disappear from the ballot without notice.
13. Amended 5-14: Songs must get at least 5 voters in order to rank, or else, it gets 0 superpoints for the week.
Voters can visit the Dementiamania ballot and pick as many songs as they want to pick, but this time, they can come back once a day to vote for the songs. New songs may appear and disappear without notice any time. Songs that don't get enough interest after several weeks may be retired from the ballot at the moderator's discetion. Older songs get retired when interest dips too low at the moderator's discretion.
